As part of our Master's Programme Collaborative unit, we were asked to pitch exciting branding solutions for an upcoming design exhibition. This event would be hosted at London College of Communication as part of the London Design Festival event in 2020.
The "Design Action" exhibition at LCC intends to be a celebration of design research, innovation and the exchange of creative knowledge.
Our team strived to develop three dynamic, flexible and distinctive directions, which embodied the spirit of "design action" and reflected the school's manifesto.
Our research led us to draw analogies between design action and nuclear fission.
The action of design is an intricate process where every action sparks a new one and leads to new thoughts and idea.
The fission concept speaks to the realisation that a design process is not linear but explores many different directions, research areas and disciplines before reaching the final result.

A beautiful custom typeface and type treatment was designed to show constant moments caused
by fission reactions.
An app designed to help guests navigate through the exhibition and keep track of scheduled events.
